Asiago Sun-Dried Tomato Bread Machine

BREAD MACHINE INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups white bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons chopped reconstituted sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup grated Asiago cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
BRAD MACHINE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
2. Select Basic bread cycle and start machine. Makes one (1 1/2 pound) loaf.

BREAD MACHINE INGREDIENTS
  • 1 5/8 cups water
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 2/3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 3 teaspoons active dry yeast
BREAD MACHINE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place ingredients in order given by manufacturer of your bread machine.
2. Select Whole Wheat setting and desired Crust Color setting; press start.

Makes 1 (2 pound) loaf.

Bread Machine Dinner Rolls
INGREDIENTS
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup dry milk powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water (110*F / 45*C)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 (0.25 ounce) package active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 large egg white (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons water
BREAD MACHINE INSTRUCTIONS
1. First of all Place all of the ingredients (except the egg white and cold water) in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Set on Dough cycle, press Start.
2. Remove risen dough from the machine, deflate and turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into twelve equal pieces and form into rounds. Place the rounds on lightly greased baking sheets. Cover the rolls with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled in volume, about 40 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 375* F (190*C).
4. In a small mixing bowl, lightly beat the egg white with the water; lightly brush the risen rolls with this mixture. Bake for 15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
Makes 12 rolls.

1. Place ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
2. Select Basic bread cycle and start machine.

Makes a 2 pound loaf.
